Who is coach Jamill Smith?

He was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana, where he went to Muncie Southside High School, where he played QB. While attending Southside, Jamill broke multiple school records in football, including passing, rushing, and touchdowns, etc. He also played basketball and baseball for Muncie South. After graduating from Southside in 2009, he walked on to the Ball State Football team, where he was able to earn a scholarship after his first semester. At Ball State, Jamill received numerous awards for his achievements on the field, including 3x All-Conference as a WR/KR/PR. He also stands on the all-time list in kick return yards and receptions.

After Ball State, having no opportunities to play in the NFL, he and his family continued to push for his playing career to go professionally. He got in contact with the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League and was able to get a tryout. After the first day he was offered a contract, he made the 53-man playing roster his rookie season in 2014. Following his rookie year in 2015, he returned to the Ottawa Redblacks and helped them go to the Grey Cup for the first time ever, just coming up short. In 2016 they were able to finish the job with Jamill being a huge part of the championship team. After his contract was finished with Ottawa, Jamill then went on to play 3 more years with the Edmonton Eskimos (now Elks).

While playing in the CFL, Jamill never lost sight of his home of Muncie. Using his knowledge from college and professional skill development as well as USA Track and Field training, he began training younger middle school and high school athletes in the off-season on speed, agility, explosion, and skill position-specific training. Naming it Milllz2BeMade Training, it has grown tremendously in the last 4 years. From 2019 until 2023, he has produced over 50 Division 1 Athletes, 10 NFL athletes (5 who remain on rosters), and 5 Army All-Americans, and has trained over 100 high school athletes. Millz2BeMade Training LLC trains athletes from all over Indiana developing good talent into detailed-oriented great athletes with professional skill development.
